1 John 4:19-  We love because he first loved us.

So I really needed this Scripture today.  You know its not always easy to love others.  There are days when you just don’t want to be nice to people and you want to tell them how it is.  Well I wonder how many times God has been fed up with us?  I wonder how many times He was ready to write us off as good for nothing people who will never get it right.  I don’t know how many times He has thought that but I do know He has always loved us regardless of what we have done.  God has never turned His back on us but instead He has always loved us even before we ever loved Him.  Lover others not because they are great or because they treat you the way you want to be treated but love others because God has first loved you!
