UPPER ROOM 2010-2011

Its time for our winter retreat! We have called it the “UPPER ROOM” for the last two years because it’s very similar to when the disciples first came in contact with the move of the Holy Ghost! We see the Holy Spirit fall in a very powerful way and the whole experience is just AMAZING! So we are off again. This is absolutely my favorite trip for the entire year! I mean we take a lot of trips but none of them really change lives like the G-Burg trip! The dates of the trip this year will be December 29th- January 2nd. We will be celebrating the New Year in the mountains just as we have for the last two years. The cost of the trip is $175 per student and $150 for those who have done fundraising with AYM. This is a GREAT PRICE! The $175 covers- Van rental, Uhal rental, gas in vehicles, food and lodging for five days, and all the activities for the trip. Like I said this is a GREAT price for this trip! We will be taking a $25 dollar deposit to save your spot on this trip over the next month at AYM. So during the month of November if you are planning on going to G-Burg you need to bring your $25 deposit to youth or to church. Put the money in an envelope with your name on it and GBURG some where labeled on the outside of the envelope. If you have any questions you can email us or call the church office. Wii GIVE AWAY!

Over the next 8 weeks you can have a chance to win a Wii! All you have to do is bring a guest with you to AYM and your name goes in the drawing for the wii! Be sure to introduce you guest to one of the youth leaders to make sure you name gets put on the list. Every time you bring a new guest to Ablaze your name gets put in the drawing again. So if you bring 20 people to AYM your name will go in the drawing 20 times! On the 8th week we will have the drawing live at AYM and if your name is pulled you will win the Wii right there! If you aren’t in attendance the we draw again! Don’t miss your chance and start bringing people this week!!!

Man I can’t wait til tonight! I just have this feeling that God is doing great things in our midst and I know its going to be good! Come with an expectation and God will never disappoint. God can do great things when we are in faith but he can even do greater things when we tap into the corporate anointing! All of us in faith together for tonight’s service will unleash the power like never before! Come READY!!!
