FOUND MY FLASHLIGHT!

Psalm 119:105- Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. God can lead us in many ways but the main way He will lead you is with His Word! The Bible will guide us, give us answers, and keep us strong through every trail. God isn’t hiding anything from His people but instead its written down for us to read. If we will get into the Word then God can lead us down the path that He has for our lives.

LET HIM GUIDE YOUR STEPS!

Proverbs 4:2- I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching.

 

If we want to make things a lot easier for us all we have to do is listen to the sound wisdom and teaching that comes to us from God.  Lots of people get in trouble because they stop listening to God!  God will always guide us down the path that is best for us.  If we will listen to Him and follow His wisdom we will avoid so many obstacles.  Its not easy but listen to God and let Him guide you in all things.

DON’T LOSE YOUR POWER!!!

Matthew 19:26- 26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

 

When you think about it we are like superman in a way.  Nothing is impossible to him and when we have God nothing is impossible to us.  The only thing that stops superman is kryptonite because it steals his power.  The only thing that stops us is sin because it steals our power!  It takes God out of our lives and when we don’t have God everything is impossible but with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!!

IN THE END IT ONLY HURTS YOU!

Matthew 6:14- For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

 

You know not everyone in this life is going to treat you the way that you should be treated.  Since we know that what are we supposed to do about it?  Are we just supposed to be mean to those who are mean?  Are we supposed to hold grudges to keep those who have hurt us before from hurting us again?  No, we are supposed to forgive.  Now just because you forgive someone doesn’t mean you have to let them back into your life so they can hurt you again.  All it means is you have forgiven them and you are free from the hurt they have caused you.  This can’t be done in our own ability but instead we must learn to trust God and rely on His Spirit to guide us in this.  Don’t let people hold you back anymore but instead decide to forgive.
