Meet the Maker
Coming in contact with God is the single greatest experience that any one person can experience. John 3:16 says,
“For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
In a nut shell Jesus came to this earth to save our lives. The bible tells us that with the joy set before him Jesus endured the cross. You and I were that joy set before Jesus. He had one goal…to save our lives and free us from the power of sin.
Romans 10:9 says,
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
This is how we receive the freedom that Jesus has given us through the cross. If you haven’t ever experienced Jesus as your Lord and Savior then I would encourage you to pray this prayer:
“Jesus I thank you for dying a sinners death for me. I ask you to come into my life and free me from the power for sin. I accept you now as my Lord and Savior. I thank you that I am now forgiven of all my sins and I am washed clean by your blood that was shed for me. I give my life to you and receive you now as my Lord, in Jesus name, Amen.”
Understand that it is by God’s love that salvation was made available for us and we will never escape that Great Love.
